BAPTISM

Baptism marks a beginning—not the beginning of God’s love for us, but our recognition that this love has been ours all along. Through ordinary water and sacred promise, we celebrate God’s grace, welcome one another into a community of faith, and remember that each of us is claimed, beloved, and sent into the world to live with compassion, courage, and hope.

WEDDINGS

Love invites us to make room: for another person, for all that life will bring, and for all that we are still becoming. In marriage, two people choose to enter a sacred covenant—to walk together through seasons of abundance and drought, celebration and uncertainty, laughter and tears. At Desert Mission, we celebrate weddings as joyful acts of worship in which promises are spoken, relationships are blessed, and love becomes a living expression of God’s grace.

SERVICE OF DEATH AND RESURRECTION

When someone we love dies, we gather to remember, to grieve, to give thanks, and to hold one another close. A Service of Death and Resurrection makes room for the fullness of that moment: sorrow for what has been lost, gratitude for the life that has been shared, and hope that death does not have the final word. Surrounded by community and held within the grace of God, we entrust those we love to the mystery of resurrection and everlasting love.
