Community Connection ~ April 4, 2026: Keep in Touch!

We gathered today in beautifully abundant numbers to celebrate Easter. We know, however, that the weeks to come will see many members of this community depart for more temperate climates, to return when the weather cools in the fall. For that reason, today we’d like to share a way for all of us to keep in touch even when we’re not together.

The thanks for this brilliant idea is due to Lynn Y. She suggests that those who travel over the summer share a highlight from their travels, a photo of the place you’re staying or a person you’ve seen or a special experience you’ve had. Send it to the account connected to our AV booth - zoom@desertmissionumc.org - and we’ll add it to the slideshow that plays before the Sunday service begins. If you’d like us to include your name and a caption, include that information in the email as well. Then those of us who are spending the hot months in Arizona can share a taste of your adventures, and you can remain connected to your community while you’re away.

This opportunity is not just available to our beloved snowbirds - we’ll be just as excited to see photos from vacations, staycations, and business trips! And if you’ve got additional ideas for ways to keep in touch, we’d love to hear them - share them with us on Facebook or Instagram.
